I was on hand to watch them shoot this video in Houston a couple months ago, so it feels great to see that the finished product isn’t disappointing. “Keep It Playa” appears on the Boss Hogg Outlawz’ horribly-titled album, Back by Blockular Demand, slated for release on September 2nd.

Madden Showdown: The Game vs. Bow Wow

What’s better than seeing two grown-ups engage in a video game contest on the Internet?

You know, Game would be lying if he said he didn’t enter into this contest with LAX in mind. You could pretty much get a rapper to do anything these days, as long he has an album to promote.

Faith Evans Sets the Record Straight on 2Pac “Affair”

Not to be outdone by Carmen Bryan and Karrine “Superhead” Steffans, Faith Evans is now releasing her own tell-all book. Faith’s book reveals details of what happened behind the scenese while she was working with 2Pac and Biggie’s reaction to the rumored affair. Too bad, those hip-hop icons are no longer around to tell their sides of the story.

From the Amazon product description:

It’s been over ten years since Big was killed. I grieved for him for a very long time. And then, as time passed, the icy wall of grief surrounding my heart began to thaw and I began to heal. I remarried, had more children, and continued to record and release more music. I continued to live my life. And while I can never discount the time I spent with Big, I’ve never felt the need to live in the past.

Keep the Faith: A Memoir arrives on August 29th. Miss Info has some excerpts.
