-Speaking of Esco, you can catch him sharing the split-cover January/February issue of XXL with labelmate and trapstar Young Jeezy. (Oh, how I hate these double covers, seeing as I always wind up with the sorry one.)

HOW THE HELL 50 F@#KED UP BY LETTING THE GO. NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT 50 HE A GREAT BUSINESS MAN. AND NAS WILL SOON REALIZE GAME CAN’T BE TRUSTED THAT DUDE TURNS ON EVERYBODY.
PEOPLE FAIL TO REALIZE GAME IS A HARD DUDE TO WORK WITH THAT NIGGA HARD HEADED HE DON’T LIKE TAKING PIONTERS FROM NO ONE.
IT’S FUNNY HOW GAME WENT AND GOT EVERYBODY ON HIS ALBUM BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE CAN’T SELL WITHOUT HELP. AND THE FUNNY THING IS HE DIDN’T EVEN PUT ANY OF THE BWS ON HIS ALBUM EVEN MORE PROOF HE NEEDED BIG NAME TO SELL.
DON’T WORRY NAS GAME WILL REALIZE HE NEEDS TO DIS YOU TOO TO SELL. GAME HAVE NO SHAME OR LOYALTY.
Idiots. Who fucking cares if Game didn’t sell a million or even 500K? He sold a solid 360K in a year when major acts are falling flat. Look at sales this year - can you name any rap albums that have had better openings? (I’m sure there were some, but I don’t have data handy.) Nevertheless, you’re going to hate on the Game when he beat out most other rappers this year in first-week sales?
It’s people like you who ruin music, dude. Instead of treading on The Game why don’t you recognize he brings something new to the table. As opposed to Jay-Z, whose new album is a complete yawn.
But no, let’s hope The Game flails in obscurity so we can get more genius from 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Ying Yang Twins, and other rappers of no substance.
That’s not the point; which rapper isn’t going to say his joint will sell? Maybe you’re missing the point: perhaps if we quit obsessing about numbers and started thinking about quality, hip-hop might mean something these days.
