the show was amazing. mos did his new stuff along with some acapellas – the first song was incredible, horns on the hook and a stompin beat. he also just played some of his new beats to measure responses from the crowd. did some tracks off of New Danger (”Modern Marvel” segwayed into Marvin Gaye and the place just sang along) as well as some old stuff. A big surprise was his new song “Concern”, which featured Mos singing over some sort of uplifting U2 guitar which turned into this rave beat. The crowd wasn’t feeling it but I thought it was awesome. Note that it’s not on the track list…

This will be a good album, sadly Nas’s album might eclipse whatever fanfare this may get..
