Ivan said it best, “50 Cent is the best and worst thing that happened to Eminem.” Well, you know but you’re acting like you don’t know.

Rizoh Says: November 8th, 2006 at 5:42 am ^You’re feeling is wrong. Go to iTunes music store, look up Akon-Smack That, read the 1st user review you see, then come back and repeat that statement. |

Rizoh Says: November 8th, 2006 at 5:46 am In fact, I’ll make it easier for you: “Akon and Eminem are so hot, I love Akon’s voice, he has the sexiest voice and the body is not bad to look at either. What can I say about Eminem, those eyes, hair, and oh my god his voice makes my panties w*t.” (by Detroit_Hotty) As long as kids like these are still allowed to buy records, Eminem and his Shady cronies will always come out on top. |

blkknight Says: November 22nd, 2006 at 6:54 pm 50 is the worst thing to happen to Em?? HILARIOUS. I don’t get the distinction this clown Ivan is making in his review. 50’s rap is about “gun play”, Banks’is about “pimp talk” and Em’s is–squeaky-clean, G-rated rap for kids? Em is super talented but w/o 50 he would become irrelevant. The truth is Em’s a true rapper but his subject matter often belongs more in a different genre e.g urban kids don’t do gore. And for all his sales outside of this demo, he (and all rappers for that matter) wants to be applauded by the base of the culture. The energy and bravado 50 brings is a seminal part of rap (or a species of rap) and Em benefits from this association. That being said, both have stressed their friendship is not industry made so they should be respected for it. In general, I think 50 needs to spend more time on his raps. I consider him especially creative with wordplay and depth (e.g. Many Men)but he should rhyme more. Em is great rhyming but he shd slow down and work with the beat–starting to sound the same everytime out. That said, I like this last song. Its typical G-Unit/Shady. They go all out for the thug element and make it work. |
