wasn’t feelin’ it too much. from ridin’ dirty to this, it doesn’t work too well with me.
i’d rather look out for his album cuts.

This is very pop/clubby but it will prolly work. Cham might be the one cat from the Houston flameout that will make it through ‘cos the new Paul Wall and Mike Jones singles are both real mediocre, I don’t know what’s going on with Slim Thug and I haven’t peeped that Flip/Lyfe Jennings(?) single yet but isn’t his street cred in the toliet right about now anyway?

esbee Says:
This should work. Rings of the ‘crossover’ bell..I hope it does for him..it can draw some of the hipster crowd his way..and of course attract some of Kelis’s fans which isn’t bad..

You’re forgetting that “Ridin’ Dirty” wasn’t his first single. It was an album cut until “Turn it Up” died down.

Slim is putting out his crew, Boss Hogg Outlawz, on Koch. After that, he’s expected to drop his second LP later in the year.

LOL @ NY Chef…Cham’ will rap circles around your favorite mixtape NY rappers..let’s not begin this east coast-south rap bias thing again..good music is good music plain and simple.
I didn’t see anyone complaining about Nas on Kelis’s “blindfold me”

“…good music is good music, plain and simple.”
“Ball game, n—a. It’s over for you lames.” - Hov, “Ballin’ Freestyle”
I’m from PA. I got my ear to everything coming out of the tri-state area. Truth is, it’s just as much trash moving here as there is down south. Conversely, both regions have a lot of great music coming out on the daily…but nobody wants to talk about that. Funny.
I’m not trying to be on some “We Are The World” shit, but some of ya’ll are so ignorant.
Enjoy the music or keep it moving.

Illmatic620 Says:
As a New Yorker.. Cham is great, hes really repping h-town right now, out of the south the Houston has some of the most bareable stuff..
But Cham doesn’t stand a chance next to Immortal Technique, Saigon, Budden, etc, and Pap (when hes on his A games not always) or how about Talib and Mos Def mixtapes..
