Fiasco is criminally underrated, people need to guy out and buy his shit.

Ive just picked up some of his old mixtapes I only got one of them, but they’re great too

2. Rizoh Says:

the FNF ones?

3. Illmatic620 Says:

Yeah the FNF ones, also his 2003 “single” Pop Pop (sorta weak)..

I actually need the first FNF one

4. vangogfx/illroots Says:

i remember he did some online tape where it was hi spitting over Gorillaz beats… pretty tight

ive always wondered why the beat on this track sounds just like New Freind Request by Gym Class Heroes…?

5. khal Says:

i guess i’m the only one who doesn’t feel lupe at all. my favorite parts of food & liquor were the beats to ‘i gotcha’ and ‘it just might be ok’…

6. Ivan Says:

illroots…..that Gorillaz tape was bananas….no pun inte-….ok fine that was corny….

but seriously, Lu’ ripped through Feel Good & Dirty Harry seemlessly..

7. Rizoh Says:

^lol. Pun well intended.

I might have he GoriLu mixtape lying around somewhere.

“Pop,Pop” was weak sauce.

8. frankster04 Says:

yeah that is a great album. probably gotten the most play on my ipod out of the albums on there.

9. Renato Pagnani Says:

Is it just me or is this 60s pop live orchestration a better look for Lupe than the looped sample he raps over on the studio version?

10. cbloom Says:

i remember seeing him live a couple months before the album dropped, and it was the most boring live show i’ve ever seen. glad to see he’s getting comfortable on stage, and putting some emotion into his performances.

11. Illmatic620 Says:

yeah i heard hes use to be pretty weak live.

Nas is really weak live i heard hes been decent lately too, must be cause he stopped smoking blunts

12. Fivefold Says:

The album is solid… But not as near to all the leaked version or the mixtape stuff… I’m still a big Lupe fan. And I’m biased to enjoy the next album.

13. Fivefold Says:

@Illmatic
To me the guy who’s made the most progress with his live sets is Jay-Z… After that hook up with the Roots, you can see that he puts some thought into it.

14. Rizoh Says:

I saw Lupe live here in Houston. He was decent. Started the set with “Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen.”

Best live show I’ve seen? Rakim, closely followed by The Roots.

Holy shit, it is. I never noticed that. Good ears, man.

16. obi Says:

no doubt Lupe is ill. people must be really fickle to hate on the album.

right now bumpin’ Clipse’s “Hell hath …”. solid to death

Nwoke m thx for all your effort

17. Rizoh Says:

^^Look who’s in tha muthackufin’ hizzouse!

18. Rizoh Says:

Oh yeah, Say you must be trippin’ or something, lol. How can you say those two beats are the same? The intro to the instro are sortakinda similar, but that’s it.
