DT Says: May 17th, 2007 at 6:54 pm Looked into it, reason Jay don’t fuck with them is because Ghost & Rae had a lot of subliminals at Biggie on OB4CL (Talking about biting Nas’ album cover, amongst other shit). That’s my best guess. Might also explain why Jay scooped all the beats Kanye was working on for himself on Blueprint, when they were originally intended for Ghostface album. Who knows. |

Ghost has said in several interviews that Jay has looked out for him esp. with Fish scale, making sure Ghost didn’t lump in 20 something odd songs, thereby having to pay out the butt for sample clearance fees and all. I don’t think their styles would mesh that well, plus Jay may respect Ghost to be able to handle his without jumping on a track with him to “help” him. |
