Trent Says:
Anyone else know why these things are flying off the shelf?
Because people actually think that there is some nutritional value in drinking this Vitamin water crap.
A couple of years ago, I think ABC’s 20/20 did a report on the popularity of these vitamin drinks — not just Vitamin water — and they concluded that these drinks are not all that they are crack up to be.
These drinks are nothing more than fruit flavor bottle water. Plus, you get dehydrated faster with these drinks than with clear bottle waters like Evian or Deer Park.
Now don’t get me wrong, Vitamin Water is cool to drink. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with drinking vitamin waters. But if you think you are getting the daily nutrtitional value by downing one of these things every 15 minutes — buuzzzzz! — you are wrong.
As far as 50 Cent nabbing $400 million in the acquisition, that figured was inflated by a PR rep (or a dumb ass nigga that don’t know his percentages. Check your math, dummy!). And I wish AllHipHop.com and those other hip-hop news websites stop using the “According to a source” bullshit tactic to report inaccurate information.
Admittingly, I use AllHipHop.com as a source for HitPage.com, but I’m always cautious. And a few times I have sent heated e-mails to the editor for some of the things they report.
One of THE MOST IMPORTANT rules in journalism is . . . ALWAYS GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!
Fuck a source, talk to the executives at Glaceau and I’m quite sure they would tell you that 50 Cent nabbing $400 million is straight bullshit. White folks aren’t that generous. (LOL! I’m just joking with cha!)
Eh, I’m done with ranting. Thanks Rizoh! LOL!
