Shots Fired: The Game vs. Jay-Z
The Game - My B*tch (prod. by Dr. Dre)
A can of worms spilled all over the interwebs last night, revealing a bunch of Doctor’s Advocate ‘throwaways’ (unreleased gems would be more apropos) produced by Dr. Dre. On this here, one of the previously unreleaked joints, Game hauls some shrapnel-edged insults at all the people who can murk him businesswise (50 Cent), lyricwise (Jay-Z), and physicalwise (Suge Knight). (I excluded the latter two from this post’s title because Game has fired shots at them before.) To the best of my knowledge, this is technically the first official, non-subliminal, full-fledged Jay-Z diss from JT.
My telepathic sources tell me that Hov is weighing his rebuttal options as we speak–script a Summer Jam Slaughter (starring JT in ‘Change of Hearts’); or give him the Cam’ron treatment?

Nothing says “No, you’re MY bitch” like having total creative control over someone else, and I bet having Jay with you at the console is just like that.

not in this atmosphere that hip hop is in #1. And sucking on another man’s phallus isn’t flattery in any way shape or form at least not to my knowledge…last time someone said something to that effect, that was “ether”
I really don’t know how Jay should do this. Game actually once again has nothing to really lose. I just wanna see Hov’ do some sneaky stuff behind the scenes and shut his career down permanently. No one can tell me this wasn’t calculated.
A summer jam slaughter should be good. I dunno will this wake up the sleeping lyrical giant in Jay that’s been coasting of late? Could we hope to get an “ether” type response? I dunno…but this just got interesting.
I just hope no one from Jay’s camp says a word…and all we hear is either music or in an interview him just airing Game out or like I said shutting down his career.
Time to put a couple calls in and put his career or on hold (c) Jay.

Great puns. Great concept. Big ups to Game for an interesting conceptual diss track (pretty rare) as opposed to a straight-up insult-a-thon.

Jay’s cool, but I really don’t care about dude.
Its an old song, probably from mid-2005, so if he dissed Jay, it was back then.
I think its dumb to diss Hov, but hey the song was good.
