Trent Says:
Ah yes, Akon has fucked up again. He’ll see a lawsuit from the toss-ee and the female fan that dude landed on to break his fall. Nice work there ‘Kon.
On second thought, this whole thing looks like a stunt. How the hell did Akon’s DJ know that he’d be feeling “Lonely” after that incident if it wasn’t staged?
Akon’s DJ is probably using an iPod to cue up songs and uses the turntables to manipulate scratching noises. I don’t think this was a stunt.
The real question here is why did this guy threw a piece of pretzel at him in the first place?
Which makes this all the more conflicting for me. On the one hand, that guy should have been dragged onto the stage, beaten severely and taken away in handcuffs. On the other hand, throwing a concertgoer into the crowd is bad for business — and is a criminal act.
I don’t condone what Akon or what that fan did but something had to give. And in this case, a mandatory bodyslam into the crowd for a skinny white boy.
As for Siagon, it looks like he’s going to have to follow in the footsteps of Little Brother and say, “bye-bye” to the folks at Atlantic. The executives are rolling with the T.I. movement and that Piles “Shawty” track is burning radio up like a motherfucker.
That’s going to be the hot song of the summer.
Siagon it’s all on you. You need to create your own movement or go to Koch Records. Atlantic is on the southern T.I.P. right now. So it’s time to release a hot joint — NOW!!! Just Blaze, where you at? The time is now. Blaze the streets with a fire joint. Come Again!
