It’s been a pretty sad year for HipHop so far, look at that top 10. While all 10 range between OK and nice not much of it is shocking or earth-shattering, or close to a modern classic.

We still have UGK, Common and Ghostface/Doom to look forward to though, so who knows. The year ain’t over ’till it’s over.
