For his sophomore LP, Cham bypassed the big league producers and opted for a dime-a-dozen Kane Beatz assortment instead. And you damn right Weezyanna is on this album too. I’m starting to think that all rap albums are required (by the labels) to have at least one Weezy joint these days.

On a related note, Koopa may have found a way to drive consumers to the record store on 9/18. He plans to give away 600 commemorative plaques to fans who cop Ultimate Victory the old-fashioned way and mail in their receipts. 100 fans will receive special plaques when the album drops; 200 people will receive gold plaques (once the album is certified gold); 300 will receive platinum plaques (upon platinum certification). This approach is pure genius, as it motivates people to cop the CD and ties in to the Ultimate Victory theme at the same time. But what happens if things go awry and Ultimate Victory fails to even reach gold status?

Reminds me of Slim Thug’s overly optimistic debut Already Platinum which is still nowhere near the P-word yet.
