And I got to be honest, buying the Kanye album also makes it possible that the major labels will direct their A&R’s to start looking for the next Kanye West rather than just the next 50. And while that might mean an influx of corny, melody deficient, pink polo touting rappers, it’ll at least mean a respite from the corny, melody deficient, crack hustling rappers the industry’s been foisting on us lately… Now where’s my team Kanye polo with the pre-popped collar? I got some records to buy and statements to make.
