Nahshon Says: September 7th, 2007 at 10:40 am Thanks Riz, and thanks for the numbers ian. I guess I would just like to see a quality album do well in sales and I had a belief/theory that this could be the one. I don’t feel the need to apologize or back off of that opinion. |

Magoo Says: September 7th, 2007 at 4:02 pm This album won’t sell, don’t get me wrong I hope it does because like I’ve stated before he one of the best lyricist in the game, people no longer care about real hip hop, they only care about materialistic bs(money, cars, etc.) , women, and street life even though a majority or rappers out there haven’t lived the life. I really hope that this album does sell just so he can get the respect he deserves. The song is hot the lyrics are vicious as usually but it kinda sounds like something I’ve heard before but maybe its just me, it was still good though. |

dre Says: September 9th, 2007 at 11:34 am this song is dope, 10x better than this shit that keeps coming up on this fucking radio station. for that reason i love it. lupe is one of the illest holding true even though he’s signed. so what about the adam levine knock, its a great track hoping to hit some mainstream heads. thats life. Hip hop isnt materialistic magoo. its the shit that people say like that that makes it that way. support good hip hop. put down that other shit and maybe spark a little change. tell your friends actually try to make a difference yourself. im not hating it just ive been hearing that so much recently its annoying as fuck. If yall hate then dont mind it. support the good music. Fuck the bullshit young joclock fucks. |

Magoo Says: September 10th, 2007 at 1:24 am Well dre if you would actually read my post you would notice that I said people only care about materialistic bs as well as some other things, I never said hip-hop itself was materialistic and I don’t even mean everyone person who buys an album but it I do mean a very large percent. A majority of people out there don’t care about real hip hop anymore otherwise Lupe would be a household name, now please tell me I’m wrong? Also, people saying hip-hop is materialistic isn’t the problem, the music is, otherwise people wouldn’t have a reason to that it’s materialistic, its that simple. I’m not saying that all hip-hop is because there are still rappers like Lupe, Mos, and Common in the game but rappers like them are few and far between. |
