No surprises here. Grammy’s favorite hip-hop child, Kanye West, garnered multiple Grammy nominations this year. Here’s a complete list of Kanye’s 2007 Grammy Award nominations:
- Album Of The Year for Graduation
- Best Rap Album for Graduation
- Best Rap Solo Performance for “Stronger”
- Best Rap Song for “Good Life”
- Best Rap Song for “Can’t Tell Me Nothin’”
- Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Good Life”
- Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for “Southside” (from Finding Forever)
- Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for “Better Than I’ve Ever Been” (It’s almost unbelievable this song got recognized)
