Walter Says: March 18th, 2008 at 4:06 pm Yea, it was definitely a good speech…I’m still not sold on Obama, but if he can continue playing to his strengths instead of simply combating the Clinton camp’s attacks on him, he should come out on top. |

Bigswa Says: March 19th, 2008 at 12:20 am I’m glad Obama didn’t placate for white folks. I love America, but America has a fucked up past and present in regards to racial issues. Don’t get mad at Wright, fix it |

yuppie Says: March 19th, 2008 at 6:58 am RE: “US problems are neither black nor white nor latino nor asian.” Does this mean everyone can start to make use of the United Negro College Fund? Based on merit instead of averages? I’ve got a broke Asian buddy who’s smart as hell but can’t afford to goto college. Since you know, the problem of poverty that the Fund is addressing is not just a black problem. RE: “I’m glad Obama didn’t placate for white folks. I love America, but America has a fucked up past and present in regards to racial issues. Don’t get mad at Wright, fix it” Every race has racist people, in my experiences there are just as many white/asian/black/latino people on the receiving end of racism as on the sending end. RE: “Thoughtful. Straightforward. Sensational.” I have to say, of all the press conferences thus far, this has been the first one to make me want to vote for someone. |

JJ Says: March 19th, 2008 at 8:45 am yuppie? when you look at country as a whole, its pretty obvious that the black community are on the receiving end of racism more than the white community |

troy Says: March 19th, 2008 at 10:19 am obama is being naive, Pastor wright is a liability for him and needs to be denounced |
| 12. |
Larson Says: March 19th, 2008 at 10:31 am Obama is the one running for president, not Wright. It’s important to remember that. |
| 13. |
rob_t Says: March 19th, 2008 at 10:38 am why wont someone point out the obvious: Obama lied, first he said he never heard wright’s evil message, now he says he’s heard it which one is it barack hussein obama? |

dax3er Says: March 19th, 2008 at 10:48 am Good speech by a good man. He pretty much lectured America on the issue of race. |
| 15. |
Walter Says: March 19th, 2008 at 10:48 am Oh dear, someone invited the neo-con to the hip hop blog…Obama said he had heard remarks remarks that were controversial, but that the emarks that are now in the spot light were new even to him…so why don’t you actually pay attention to what he says instead of parroting whatever the right is telling you, k? @Ivan |
| 16. |
Walter Says: March 19th, 2008 at 10:49 am Oh dear, apparently, I can’t type…ignore that second “remarks” and add an r to that “emarks” lol |

Enigmatik Says: March 19th, 2008 at 11:23 am Having heard Pastor Wright speak, I will go as far as to say that he does not need to be denounced. All of the people who are denouncing are not even in a position to do so. You are taking bits and pieces of a broader message and manipulating them to be something else entirely. But…such is life. |

Illmatic620 Says: March 19th, 2008 at 12:08 pm It just shows how white-dominated and controlled the media is, I dont see exactly what is offensive/ at all contensible about what his Rev. said. America is mostly controlled by rich white males, but totally controlled by males, she has a history of injustice and in her current condition there isnt much to be happy about. (3.5 million homeless, 50 million uninsured) God damn America, until we can say god bless America. |
