Great club track! Great beat, catchy (enough) hook! BUT, Weezy doesn’t have the voice! Guys like 50 or Lil Jon could have turned this into a #1 pop track. Can’t deny the fact that this’ll be on the radio for too long… ;-(

Yeah he was trying to bite off of T-Pain / Snoop’s Sexual Eruption record and it didn’t work.

The sad thing for me, is I am a huge Wayne fan. I’ll fight against the crap people give him by putting up Dedication 2 and Da Drought 3 up against anything that’s come out recently.

While intellectually I would side with you, my ears/ipod tell me different.

about 5 tracks from HHID remain on my ipod, ditto from Desire. I have Ali’s first album but UT just didn’t do it for me.

On the other hand Dedication 1&2 are still on my ipod in their full entirety, DJ Drama shoutouts and all.

At the end of the day, Music is about what sticks to their ear, not what is deep or enlightening.

honestly i don’t even know what to make of this dude anymore…this sound is definitely not creative or original (i.e. snoop sensual seduction) and his voice sounds terrible, he really should stick to the corny punchlines and simple metaphors, that might work out better for him because this is trash. and im not a hater…i actually enjoy some of his music but if this is what the carter 3 is gonna sound like then theres no way in can be the classic people are anticipating it to be. and riz i hope that was sarcasm lol @ people saying hes the best when theres so many rappers that would rap circles around him (hov, eminem, lupe, kiss, beans, fab, cass, joe budden…just to name a few) he needs to step his game up before he can even be considered top 20 imo.
