Call of Duty 4 online is no joke. I was in the same position you are, not sure what to get. I think the XBox360 is in it's prime now, but will start to show its age soon. The PS3 is gaining momentum and should hit it's stride this year. The PS3 is more powerful and they are just now figuring out how to tap all of its potential. The new consoles are much more reliable than the old ones (I'm about to send in my second 360 in pretty soon, it looks like), and the library is second to none.
