Foxy Brown Doesn’t Like Her Own Album
If you heard Foxy Brown’s new album once and immediately tossed it in the garbage can, you’re not alone. Foxy isn’t feeling the album either.
Says the Ill Na Na:
“Unfortunately, during my incarceration, this CD was compiled without my approval. I heard this CD in its entirety, for the first time, just days ago and was devastated.”
Fox Boogie went on to say that Brooklyn’s Don Diva was only supposed to be a mixtape, but that Koch went ahead and released a recklessly orchestrated version of the CD without her approval. I thought the majors had a monopoly on that problem, but what do I know?
To compensate for the slip-up, she has reached an agreement with Koch to re-release a revamped version of Brooklyn’s Don Diva, replete with 5 new songs, videos and all.
“I have an obligation to my fans to deliver the level of product my brand is accustomed to. In order to preserve my artistic integrity, the new release will have my stamp of approval and fingerprints all over it.” [via: Ballerstatus]
So, of course, she’s only “hating” on the album to draw attention to the new release.
