Basically, she’s saying this race needs to continue until either:
a) a Clinton wins, or
b) the likely nominee gets killed
I understand she’s fatigued from the rallies and all, but that was such a callous thing to say. She should’ve known better. At this rate, she might as well forget about that 2012 nomination she’s been setting herself up for.
What’s next? Will the Clinton campaign start handing out sniper rifles at Obama rallies?

she’s already apologized for these comments.

i understand what she was trying to say but it to me it was just bad timing…
i think saying ‘you never know what can happen’ or something similar (even though it is a classic cliche) would have sufficed and eased the crowd more than her comment.

Rukus Says:
@ bubba paris
she did NOT apologize, she issued the classic statement saying she hopes people aren’t misinterpreting her words.
Please listen to what Keith Olberman said about it…she’d made these statements MANY times…this was the first time she used the word “assassinated” though which finally took it over the edge.

Thanks Rukus for pointing out to bubba paris that she didn’t apologize. Bitch didn’t even attempt to mention Obama in her lame statement to the Kennedy family in light of Senator Ted Kennedy’s brain cancer diagnosis. She’s a deluisional crazy hag, who needs to STFU already./

Trust me, if Obama had said this, oh, they’d be riding his ass like he was in the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes…(Go Big Brown, and capture the Triple Crown!)

UNDERSTANDING Says:
My dude Keith Olberman factually destroyed her piece by piece and yet … she’s out in Puerto Rico campaigning like its all good. My guess is she’s hoping someone will take her 2 her subliminal message and try Obama out. She really is amazing … and I don’t mean that in a good way. If I were DNC Chairman I wouldn’t let her triflin’, assassination fantasy havin’ a** anywhere near the convention.

Walter Says:
I’m not particularly disturbed by what she said, I’m more disturbed by the fact that she said it…is she really so tactless that she couldn’t see how that could be interpreted? Really, she’s displaying Bush-like levels of stupidity here…

J to the AAP Says:
@Walter: That’s not stupidity, it’s A-level politics completely void of any morality. Just like Bush & Cheney. Making Dubya look like a harmless stupid f*ck might be one of the smartest moves of this administration.
Let’s just all hope nobody’ll Bobby Kennedy Barack, which was already an apparent danger without her subliminals.

Actually, I think she was referencing the fact that he was shot at the party where they announced that he was the official nominee. And since that event occurred in June, its a landmark to help people remember. I actually have strong personal feelings against her, but I think this attack is unfair.
