Lil Wayne - “Mr Carter” (Feat Jay-Z)
Here’s the much anticipated collaboration between the two Carters: Dwayne Carter (Lil Wayne) and Shawn Carter (Jay-Z). The execution is better than some might expect. Too bad, I can’t say the same for much of the Carter 3. I mean, this jokestar even had the nerve to swagjack Beyonce on “Comfortable.”

“Mr. Carter” appears on Tha Carter III, out June 10.

I was on message boards and everyone was hyping this up but when I finally heard it… I didn’t think it anything special.

Not even on Jigga’s part.

The beat is dope but the lyrics could’ve been much better than they were.

the true gems I’ve heard thus far are “Let The Beat Build” and “Dr. Carter”. Dr Carter is creatively brilliant.

After first hearing this i thought “damn these niggas went in hard”, After a couple more spins i thought “Damn This new Jay-Z track is fire, oh lil’ wayne is aiight too.” As for the Carter 3 i’m now listening to it.

Dr. Carter’s rhymes are unimaginable and he has a complete different flow as lil’ wayne and it doesn’t bother me that they both have one because they will both be different.
