Money well saved

Initially, I was upset that the only seating available for the Houston leg of Glow in the Dark was “grass.” Grass? Can you imagine paying $75 to sit on grass? I even flirted with the idea of heading all the way to Dallas.

Then I saw this:

“Don’t believe the hype! When I started the show the other night we were having a lot of technical issues due 2 the heat. The 2 huge screens on both sides of the stage were glaring bright blue like when your DVD player acts up at home. I asked for them 2 turn the screens off 3 times because it was distracting 2 the show. The fans were not getting what they paid for. I admit, in my frustration, I did use profanity on the 4th time I asked. I stopped the show 2 go over and check it out myself. After the screens were turned off I started the same song from the beginning. The screens were eventually fixed 5 songs in but it was definitely better 2 have them blacked out rather than bright blue. Unfortunately for certain media outlets, you will never be able 2 ‘Michael Jackson’ me. That means 2 make it seem like everything I do is so weird or out of place… they always try 2 make it seem like everything is about my ego! That joke is getting old. At a certain point you have 2 respect that I’m one of the last artist that still cares about the fans having the best time of there lives! Thanks 2 Bossip and Perez for taking it easy on me on the EW spaz… I did go in a little 2 much on that one. I’m sure there are some cool people who work over there and had nothing 2 do with that review. With all that said…. “I’m still the greatest!!!” lol!! Oh and I was in the studio with T.I. last night…. so get ready!!!” - kanye

I’m sure under normal circumstances this would’ve been a monumental event. Oh well, at least I’m no longer feeling sorry for myself. Money well saved, thank you.

I saw the show in Atlanta last night, and Kanye’s show is the greatest performance I’ve ever seen in my life. Period. Ever.

friend of mine went to the show friday. she said it was aight. But she did mention that it would have been better in an indoor venue rather than the woodlands.

Lupe wasn’t didn’t come to Oklahoma so I didn’t go, but I heard NERD killed it and Kanye had some corny back story about him crash landing in his spaceship

Sorry I’m just a little too old for that stuff, just play some music

You slippin’ homie. To think you didn’t miss anything because of that blog entry is crazy. That whole episode lasted 5 minutes at the most and was at the beginning of the show. Kanye killed it. Non stop for an hour and a half. And $75?? Lawn tickets were $30.

The show in ATLANTA was crazy, besides lupe’s STUNTS, lol, kanye killed that performance. as different as the theme being Kanye crash landing on a planet, it was in no way corny at all. IT WAS PURE VISUAL ART! oh yeah, i was able to meet Yeezy backstage and told him i was his competition, lol, he said something smart, and we laughed sarcastically. it was an awkward moment… but the show in its entirety was amazing.
