yo don’t hate on Rock City cuz their PR guy is a dick. They are this sick up and coming group - they do their own stuff and remix a load of different material. I discovered them like a month ago, and since then, have tried to DL everything that comes out. Loving the island feel with the deep lyrics and awesome harmonizing!
Keep doing ya thing R. City!

like you said He needs to take the time and research who he is sending what to. Cause i’m not going to post it regardless.
(Unless its a Hiphop remix)

They’re not R&B cats though. They’re more dancehall/reggae influenced than anything else. Is “Losing it” their “Love in the club” remix? If that’s the one I have it on one of my mixtapes I make for myself from time to time..I dare say it was a way better song imo than the original itself but that’s me.
Its sad though that new artists have to go to diff lengths from a PR standpoint just for bloggers and media folks to pay attention to them. TRU is one of the few that do as is HHIR, BGDB, ML and a few others out there.

Whats good homie, thanks for the post. I sent the blast to various music sites, so please don’t think I was speaking specifically to you. I’m personally a fan of these dudes and I really believe they are gonna blow. And L the reason I sent it to hip-hop sites is because these dudes consider themselves hip-hop.
Check this one out-

Shot, Considering your self hip hop and being hip hop is two completely things. I listend to the song, its nice, but it wouldnt make sense for me to post them, when i havent posted Usher, kieth sweat, Solange or Mary J,and countless other R&B artist.
They tight, but until you send me something with “16 bars of pain”, they wont get posted on my site.

and this I don’t think you want my audience to gather their impression of them from this song. its a nice album filler but nothing I would think someone would release as a single.
L
Ps. And my fault Riz for conducting my site business on your site, I mean no disrespect just wanted to leave my opinion for Sure.

try to check out what they do on other songs other than no air. I hafta say I thought that this was their worst remix I’ve seen so far. They’re remixed “a millie” (weezy), “no matter what” (T.i.), “no air” (as stated), “bed” (j. holiday), “flashing lights” (ye), “say goodbye” (old chris brown), “I’m so hood” (dj khaled), and “love in this club” (ush). But I also have sum originals - from the rock, secret, 2 the floor, in the dancehall, last day, and losing it. As you can see, they really come from everywhere - its almost reggae/reggaeton/rap/r&b/hip hop. If you already passed then by, I’d just suggest taking another look, cuz they really branch into every genre.
