Shaq Just Gave Kobe Another Championship

I have all the respect in the world for Shaq Fu, one of the greatest Centers to ever do it. Having said that, he didn’t have to bring up bygone sentiments the way he did at that nightclub. Everyone knows Shaq was a major factor in all those Laker championships. Duh, why else was he named Finals MVP for 3 consecutive years?

Saying, “Kobe couldn’t do it without me” will only motivate Bryant to go out and get it. Next season, Kobe will win a championship and I won’t be surprised if he drops a diss on Shaq.

By the way, the USA Olympic men’s basketball team was announced yesterday. See the roster below.

2008 USA Men’s Senior National Team Roster
Carmelo Anthony
Carlos Boozer
Chris Bosh
Kobe Bryant
Dwight Howard
LeBron James
Jason Kidd
Chris Paul
Tayshaun Prince
Michael Redd
Dwyane Wade
Deron Williams

Update: Shaq is now paying a hefty price for that rap

2. UNDERSTANDING Says:

I understand why Shaq said what he said. I mean Kobe is an arrogant bastard who secretly orchestrated the Lakers gettin’ rid of Shaq.

Plus that whole thing when dude startin’ bringin’ Shaq’s extra-marital matters in2 the equation in order 2 try 2 get some of the heat off of himself when people were talkin’ about him. Not sayin’ Shaq’ shoulda’ done it … but I UNDERSTAND !!!

3. Mr.IHateRappers Says:

I agree with UNDERSTANDING.

Kobe is the type to get bent out of shape by a freestyle instead of talking directly to Shaq, God! please don’t make him(Kobe) rap again. I blame Shaq if that happens.

Also that nigga ain’t gonna win no Championship next season unless he goes to the Suns. We all know that if Shaq was on the Lakers these final they would have won.

4. Hip Hop Made Me Do It Says:

If the Lakers get a player like a Ron Artest with a healthy Andrew Bynum, then I can definitely see Kobe and the Lake Show win the championship next year.

I hope Kobe doesn’t rap because he is one of worst
that ever deed it!.. Also , I would be upset with Kobe if he ratted me out and eff’s up my marriage.

As for Shaq Fu, next time, tell the crowd to turn off their camera phone.

Kobe has proven yet again he can’t win a championship even when he has a few more pieces in place. So him being motivated to go out and win another chip this year is somewhat laughable considering the Celtics have shown how you can lock Kobe in…

I’m a supporter of let bygones be bygones but when you bring up a man’s marital issues then you expose yourself to getting “done in” on wax.

6. Walter Says:

I sincerely hope there’s a legitimate reason for the lack of Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, etc. on this damn team…do they want to not get the gold again?

7. esbee Says:

The heck are all these PG’s and PF’s doing in one place? LOL..this is hee-larious.

I’m not even a Kobe fan, just calling it as I see it. Have we already forgotten that Kobe came close to winning the championship this year and he didn’t have Shaq. Celtics just had a better team-oriented game overall, plus the better bench.

If Shaq wants to gloat about how KB can’t do it without him, that’s fine. But if you’re Kobe right now, what’s going through your mind while watching that video? Eh, I don’t know, maybe Shaq’s diss will make Kobe go “OK, I’m gonna show this muthafucka that I CAN do it without him.” Yeah, I understand that I’m saying this as if Kobe can simply walk into NBA headquarters and say “hand me the trophy” and it’s a rap. That’s not going to be the case. But you can rest assured that he’s going to be extra motivated come next season.

I don’t mind Chris Paul and Deron Williams there along with Kidd who happens to be the only one that understands how to run that offense at that level. My only gripe is that we don’t have enough bigs. There’s no obvious reason why Kevin Garnett should’nt be on that list.

10. Walter Says:

My thing is…why do I see Tayshaun Prince and not KG? Boozer, really? Where’s Duncan? I think the NBA just wants to like not use their best guys, so they send up 2nd rate stars to play, seriously. It seriously looks like the only position they took seriously was SG/SF

You guys realize that Tim Duncan is considered an international player, right?

12. Belize Says:

No Pure shooters beside Redd? Da fuck? This is why we lost the last time.

13. Walter Says:

That’s news to me about Duncan…wasn’t he on the 2004 team? I guess they do come up with new rules and ish all the time, but are they really barring him from playing for the U.S.? I thought he was from the Virgin Islands or some other U.S. controlled territory. Either way, there are players they could’ve added besides Anthony and Boozer, for example…
