GZA goes hard at 50 Cent on “Paper Plate,” a new track from his upcoming album, Protools. For the unitiated, 50 was talking greasy about GZA last December, saying he’s too old and whatnot. “You were born in 1966,” 50 said back then. “Listen, I have an old school Chevy Impala your age.”
So, GZA decided to battle him the old-fashioned way: on wax. He’s pretty much saying, “Look, you may have all the money, but I will pwn you rhyme for rhyme.” Even though I thought this was a polite diss, I don’t see Boo Boo being able to top it.
And GZA didn’t even have to use a single cuss word.

just look at the discography of gza and that of 50. obviously in the first couple of albums gza is on top, and then the ghost dog soundtrack, 50 doesn’t have a mumblers chance

This song was a diss w/ the GZA keeping it professional, I’m sure he has the comeback off hand. BUT TO REALLY KNOW WHAT’S UP> cop that album Aug. 19th and then go to ur trash can and pull out the 50 garbage (last album), no comparison

the thing about GZa battle track towards fifty …its all simple , all so simple , simple beat , not one curse word ,,, bashing but just very undertone ish …straight up and down dude gza …mad respect …and i heard back in the day ghostface thru fifty down a flight of stairs ,, said he was annoying , and Wu tang is forever , they got a movement that i dont think G unit will ever have …G unit is like destiny child dudes …ha
