‘The Wackness’ Mixtape (Hosted by D-Nice)

the wackness mixtape

D-Nice has assembled a wide variety of so-called Golden Era goodies for all you purists. Actually, he compiled this mixtape as a promotional tool for The Wackness Soundtrack. Nonetheless, these hip-hop gems will have you waxing nostalgic over the good ol’ days. Throw this on and get your BBQ on.

Don’t say Rizoh never hooked you up on July 4th.

Nice idea, shame I already got the whole tracklist when it came out first…

Am I an old geezer in HipHop terms? It feels like this movie is a nostalgia project aimed at my generation. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but if that’s all that it brings it might be.

Correction; I didn’t get them ALL when they came out first (Lou Reed I didn’t, i’m not that old). I just mean the bulk of this has had a place in my musical library for many years now.

awww ease up, watch the film then play the tape, the films great… not all will like it, but if you were shapiros age when these tunes dropped, you’ll love traveling back into this era…
but its a wonderful film about being young & getting old, kingslys characters one of the best ive seen him play , quality comedy… shame about the wack reviews… clearly some dont get it
