T.I. - “Swagger Like Us” [Unofficial Video]

When J first sent me this with “fan video” in the title, I expected to see a corny video. But I was surprised by how ridiculously fresh it is. The M.I.A. scene is genius.

Diddy Weighs in on McCain’s Running Mate, Sarah Palin

“John, you’re bugging the f*ck out, man” - Diddy

Diddy gives his $.02 on John McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin as V.P. choice. He makes a solid point without even mentioning the myriad scandals that are about to unfold in the coming days and weeks. America, get your popcorn and soda ready. This election cycle is about to get very exciting.

Oh, and in case you found the video confusing, here’s what Diddy was trying to say.

Lupe Fiasco’s “Gotta Eat” Music Video [Unofficial]

This is pretty dope for a lo-fi, almost Rik Cordero-esque video. My only gripe is that the guy who plays Lupe looks more like Nick Cannon.

Reks - “Money On The Ave” Video (feat. Skyzoo)

Here’s the music clip for Reks’ “Money on the Ave” alongside Skyzoo. It’s not the best cut on Grey Hairs but it’s well worth your 5 minutes.

Houston Press Previews Z-Ro’s Crack

Judging from the words of my boy Shea Serrano of the Houston Press, Z-Ro’s Crack just might be as intoxicating as the title suggests. Shea and several others were given a taste (excuse the pun) of the Crack last night at Dave & Buster’s.

Here’s his incredibly entertaining and incisive take on the Crack listening session.

Kanye’s Life Changing Meeting with the Obamas

“Life changing” is how Kanye simply described his experience at last night’s Democratic convention. Proceed for pictures of Kanye with Michelle Obama and Joe Biden, as well as a few other Kodak moments from the convention.

Black ELement - “Sex Ed” (feat. T-Payne)

Black ELement - Sex Ed (feat. T-Payne)

Black ELement describes this as a song he would “make for the kiddies if I was teaching Sex Ed.” It’s pretty funny, particularly the T-Payne cameo. Enjoy.

Video of Daddy Yankee Endorsing John McCain

I know I’ve talked about Daddy Yankee’s endorsement of John McCain, but this fuckery is worth watching for the sheer hilarity of it.

If you’re sitting in front of your computer going “WTF? Daddy Yankee and John McCain?” you’re not alone. Fellow latino rapper Fat Joe has also expressed his disappointment with Daddy Yankee’s move, calling him a sell-out.

Says Joe: “I felt like I wanted to vomit when I seen that. The reason why I called him a sellout is because I feel he did that for a [publicity] look, rather than the issues that are affecting his people that look up to him. How could you want John McCain in office when George Bush and the Republicans already have half a million people losing their homes in foreclosure? … Either he did that for a look, or he’s just not educated on politics.”
