There’s been a series of dramatic developments in the death of a guest at Lil Kim’s birthday party. The 24-year old victim, Ingrid Rivera, was mysteriously killed and then stuffed into a utility closet on the roof of New York’s Spotlight Live club where Kim was celebrating her birthday.

Authorities attributed the probable cause of death to a blunt trauma to the back of the head, which led many to believe that she was struck with a Champagne bottle. Based on testimony from witnesses, Spotlight club employees were held as the primary suspects in the murder case. After a series of investigations, police found that it was bar-back Sayed Rahman who killed Ingrid Rivera.

Rahman struck her with a pipe and stuffed her body in an electrical room on the roof of Spotlight Live. Rahman spent a few days sleeping at a friend’s before finally returning to the Harlem his parents’ Harlem apartment where cops were already waiting for him. He later confessed to killing Rivera.

The story goes that Rivera was kicked out of the club for accidentally winding up in the men’s room at one point. Rahman later saw her outside and told her he had a way to sneak her back in. The idiot told police he singled her out because she was drunk when he saw her outside the club. He further revealed that he convinced the poor girl to follow him to the roof of the club and then killed her there. It’s possible that he had tried to rape her and she resisted.

At any rate, this was such a terrible tragedy and that fool deserves to sit and rot in jail. My heart goes out to Rivera’s family. This is one birthday party Lil Kim won’t forget in a heartbeat.
