Why Jay-Z Dumped Timbaland for Kanye West
A couple months ago when word of Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 first leaked, Timbaland announced to the world that he was producing the entire album. “I’m making a classic,” Timbaland boldly stated, cracking up a smile. “You better believe it’s going to be a monster.” Well, it looks like Jay-Z has told Tim to shove that monster up his ass and replaced him with some guy named Kanye West who will now be the primary sound architect for Blueprint 3. Here are 7 possible reasons why Jay-Z dumped Timbaland for Kanye.
- Jay-Z cares about his image too much to risk being seen with a steroid user.
- Being the hood’s Barack, Jay couldn’t share the spotlight with a Hillraiser
- Timbo wants to bring sexy back. Jay would much rather bring gangsta back.
- It would’ve been the most expensive album in hip-hop history
- Kanye threw a hissy fit when Tim’s name came up in discussion
- Jay would rather make another album with Kells than have JT all over his CD
- Timbaland can’t do this.
