Word on the street is that Kanyeezy will drop his 4th album this December. “Love Lockdown” is rumored to be the first single. Interestingly, Jay-Z’s Blueprint III is also “scheduled” to drop in the first week of December. Should be interesting to see those 2 go toe-to-toe, if any of this is true.

Is UMG gearing us for another SoundScan Showdown, a la Curtis vs. Graduation. It would probably be more of a pairing than a match-up.

Update: MTV has confirmed that “Love Lockdown” is officially scheduled for release on September 8th.
