Im no McCain fan, but I think fixing the economy is more important right now.

Whether McCain is in Washington or not doesn’t have much effect on the economy. All he’s doing is taking advantage of the average American’s ignorance to make it seem as if he’s putting the country first in some way.

At any rate, if he can’t prepare for debates while working on an actual solution (which will take time and will have to be a long-term effort), then I think that’s just another reason for him not to be president. I agree with Letterman on this one.

why does anyone care about Letterman’s political stance? He is an ex-weatherman, turned comedian, TV producer, and racing team owner. His political opinions are useless.
