2 Players Ejected in Rockets-Suns Melee (Artest Not Involved)
If you missed the neato scuffle between the Rockets and the Suns, I got you covered like a parking spot. Late in the 3rd quarter, Matt Barnes threw a cheap shot at Rafer Alston while T-Mac was in the middle of a 3-pointer. Skip ran up in Barnes’ face. Shaq started pushing people around. Then Nash came in. (WTF was Nash thinking?) The funniest part was after the game when Aaron Brooks was asked about the melee and he said “As soon as Shaq came in, I knew I had to get outta there.”
Bottom Line: Matt Barnes is a sore loser.
