As one rapper friend of mine keenly observed in a phone conversation the other day, the reason many of these Auto-Tuned songs sound terrible is because you need to possess a certain level of vocal talent in order to effectively utilize Auto-Tune (Think Cher). It was originally designed to enhance, rather than mask, poor singing ability. I’m done ranting. Enjoy the comedy.
