At first I was offended by this display of Jail House Religion. Then I realized why should I be… It’s real. Every prisoner finds God behind bars. Some how He gets lost between the cuffs coming off and entering back into society.

My question is why do black celebs or figures who get into trouble need to explain themselves to the ‘white community’ or any community for that matter?

Do white celebs like Lohan or Martha Stewart for instance give explanations to the ‘black community’ for their crimes?
