I was actually a fan of the previous game, 'cause the fighting system was fun and the plot (such as it was) of rappers playing underground fighters struck me as a bit of commentary on how WWE the rap game has gotten. Icon not only had a shitty, Fight Night-lite fighting system, but the plot was actual rappers beating each other up over rap shit. It's a shame, 'cause the soundtrack had "Ante Up" and I've been dyin' to smack fire outta someone in a game to that joint for ages. I third that.
