Asher Roth, a rapper whiter than sour cream, had the Internetz going nuts over some dumb racist joke a few days ago. Apparently A-Roth was at Rutgers University to bless the college kids with his awesome presence. There can only be one logical excuse for what happened next.

Roth probably smoked a fat cheeba, guzzled a few drinks, bagged some thirsty groupies, and found himself drowning in a sea of excitement. Roth then decided to share his excitement with Twitterville. “Been a day of rest and relaxation, sorry twitter – hanging out with nappy headed hoes.” Rookie mistake.

A legion of black activist Internet weblogs promptly pounced Roth’s twitter page and posted screencaps of the blasphemous “tweet” (that’s twitterspeak for message). All it took was one Internet rap blogger to start yelling “death to the racist” to spoil Roth’s supposed threesome fun.

Soon as Roth realized that shit was on a one-way flight to fan, he deleted the tweet. The Interwebs collectively went into an anxiety attack and called the whaambulance, as they often do whenever a celebrity shows a sign of human fallibility. This made the Asher Roth fans very sad, since this dude is not only the new Great White Hope but also is apparently no longer cool with black people now.

That said, the great thing about this country is that Asher Roth is entitled to his statement. And I’m entitled to the right to be offended by his statement.

Oh and this:

“Totally just making fun of Don Imus – Sorry Scoot, not trying to be offensive…I’m extremely apologetic to anyone who took offense to my immature, bad joke.”

See that, black people? Pure proof that Asher Roth totally hates you people.
