Rick Rawse Rains on Asher Roth’s Parade
Despite all the publicity Asher Roth enjoyed from his apparent obsession with nappy-headed hoes, his debut album Asleep in the Bread Aisle only managed a moderate 65,000 copies in its first week. That was good enough to land A-Roth at No.5, behind Depeche Mode, Rascal Flatts, and the Miley Cyrus sountrack. The Bawse, on the other hand, easily cruised to numero uno with 158,000 units.
