Jason Jones: Behind the Veil – The Kids Are Allah Right

The Daily Show’s Jason Jones spent a week in Iran prior to the election fallout. In his last report he interviews Persian MC Hichkas and proceeds to drop some lines himself, over production by Tanya Morgan. The previous reports were all satirical while simultaneously insightful in typical Daily Show fashion but the ending of this one even turns out moving in the light of recent events. Give it a few minutes of your time.

If you want to show an artist from Iran why do you choose the fake one ? have you ever asked him why he is copying Turkish beats such as Ebro Ganzas and lots more ? have you ever asked him why he supported Ahmadi nezhad on his BBC interview ?? He is NOT a presenter of Iranian underground music generation nor Iranian youngsters

The track ” Man Vaysadam ” is from the albume of ” Ebrou Gonzas ” get Ebrou’s full albume and you’lle be fine.
