Drake’s Knee Eternally Committed to Destroying His Career

Drake reminds me of that #1 draft pick who just couldn’t get going in his rookie season because of recurring injuries. He injured his ACL prior to the BET Awards and was forced to perform sitting on a stool. While performing alongside Lil Wayne in Camden, NJ last night, he attempted a spin move at the beginning of “Best I Ever Had,” hit the deck and re-injured his knee. He had to be helped off stage by 4 guys. After Drake fell, Wayne said, “This n-gga really got a bad leg. I thought that sh-t was just on the TV show.” Ouch!

Drake later tweeted that he plans to undergo surgery on his knee this week.

Get well, kid, your team needs you for a playoff run.

Meanwhile, Drake’s knee injury is so legendary that it now has its own Twitter profile.
