Jay-Z has responded briefly to Beanie Sigel’s half-ass diss. It was a terrible decision on Sigel’s part. No, Jay probably wasn’t a perfect mentor to Beans, Crack, and the rest of his disgruntled former employees. Neither was Dame. But how come no one ever disses Dame? Oh, never mind, there’s nothing to be gained from doing that.

 November 1st, 2009 at 8:53 pm Let’s not lose focus here: Jay has the opportunity, now, to release Beans from his Roc chains and won’t. That’s what sparked the diss record. What Jay brought up was interesting, but all that flash was part of “the dynasty” image. Dame and Jay were both responsible for that though, so what Riz mentions about dudes not going at Dame is pretty spot-on. |
