Listen to Rakim’s ‘Seventh Seal’ Album in Full [Audio]

RakimCover

Rakim’s The Seventh Seal is probably the most anticipated hip-hop album of the fall. The question on everyone’s mind has been, “Which Rakim will show up on this album — the ol’ skool lyrical Rakim or a revamped MC with a new school flavor?” Luckily, the folks at Conspiracy Worldwide managed to get their hands on The Seventh Seal and were kind enough to share. Listen to the album below and sound off.

The tracks seem to have a pretty heavy R&B sound on the production and hooks. Not so sure what I think of that…

Gotta listen to the whole thing a few times before I pass judgment.

2. NYHC81 Says:

I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THIS BUT RAKIM FELL OFF BIG TIME.I KNOW RAKIM COULD DO BETTER.HE NEEDS SOME GRIMY BEATS.THAT R&B SHIT IS LIMITED.I WAITED 10 YEARS FOR THIS.THATS A HARD PILL TO SWALLOW.

11. Damn Says:

I am sorry to hear this. He obviously been listening to the industry demons but did he really have to go that route? The sound is not fitting to the god. He needs some easy mo b on his shit. He need that ready to die type shit. Who the hell is handling his career now? Miley Cyrus? Come on, I know comedians that got harder beats on they RNB albums. Sorry Ra. Your only hope= get some live niggas on your remixes and pray to The Most High daily cuz you gonna need help to clean up this shit.

12. Jason Dottin Says:

I hate Rakim now.

What happens to the Don’t sweat the technique days…..

He must be broke because he as SOLD THE FUCK OUT!!!!

13. neb dirty Says:

The album is very good, IMO, Rakim’s lyrics haven’t fallen off at all. “Workin’ For You”, “I Got What You Need”, “Holy Are You” are all good joints and I don’t know where y’all are getting this predominantly R&B garbage from. Probably the same cats that are all over Lil’ Wayne’s nuts right now, even though he’s trying to sing on every song these days. Right on to the real and later for the haters, Rakim is more than a problem for your lame-ass so-called greatest rappers alive.
