BJ Says:
This is too much for me to process right now. To me this is like BIG dissing Puff. Like Cube dissing Eazy. Money is terrible. Beans says this isn’t about money. If that wasn’t the case? Then why not drop this on 9/12 the day after the concert. Drama lovers will eat this ish up and it make sense to me Drama King dropped this record. Maybe the fact Jay is busy right now making money, Beans feels slighted because he can’t make any without Jay. I guess the code of the streets is love thy brother to the point they pull you back down, no matter what. Fk up your life because they can’t live without you. Til death do us part.

I’m surprised a lot of people who are shocked by this didn’t catch the not-so-subliminal shots on “Run to the Roc” (released months ago).

I love how people hate on anything that they think Jay might not like.
It’s a cool song and nothing said can be refuted. Let this dude tell the truth! He admits that Hov put the battery in his back and he has no misconceptions about where he stands in life. But listen to his speech at the end. This is one of the most clear-headed “diss-songs” I’ve ever heard.
Jay is the king right now, but he’s not a Hip Hop deity yet.

Shelton Says:
Real talk: Beanie was arguably the hottest spitter on THE hottest hiphop label at its peak. How could he not cake off of that? He’s angry about Jay not letting him out of his contract. But if that’s the case, how could he say that this diss ain’t about money? He didn’t make any paper from all the albums he released, all the touring he did, all the guest appearances and soundtracks, the State Prop movie and clothing line, etc? I seriously doubt that.
Let facts be facts: Beanie got himself into a lot of legal trouble, and even after that Beanie got his bars on Ignorant Shit the minute he got out. I think this is a hot diss record, and I respect Beanie as an artist, but something really doesn’t add up. What he’s airing out and how his career played itself out in front of our eyes ain’t the same thing. At all.

DOT Says:
I’m from philly, and I can honestly say Beanie is a true lyrical genius. But a fkn fool when it comes to business. The nigga had his own clothing line, movies, the world in his hands, all this without going platinum. And Couldn’t stay outa trouble for shit. When you sign a contract then go to jail for some dumb ass shit you did, you automatically terminate that contract. No real record executive would have put up with that shit as long as Jay Z did. I got love for Beanie but he got nobody to blame but himself.

Chills Says:
Jay is going to take a hit on this one because he was exposed just like every label taking from an artist and making it seem as though they gave it to you when they didnt give you anything. The artist pays for it thru their royalties. So jay didnt give him nothing he treated Beans just like every other lable does…..”Take what we can and when we are thru see ya with no explanations”
