Watch Támar’s “Heartbeat” Video
If Támar’s name rings a bell it’s probably because you heard her co-lead vocals on this Grammy-nominated gem from Prince’s 3121 album. Having watched Támar create music firsthand, I can tell you that she’s as vocally impressive live as she is on wax. Look out for her debut album, My Name is Tamar, due sometime in 2010.
