Beanie Sigel – “Ready for War”

The Broad Street Bully is back. No, really Broad Street Bully is the title of Beanie Sigel’s new album, slated for September 1st. Is it just me or does Young Chris sound like Jay-Z on “Money Goes, Honey Stay”?

Beanie Sigel ft. Scarface – “Rain”

beanie-sigel.jpg

One of the highlights from Beanie’s solid new album, The Solution, due out December 11.

Yet another Mac and Brad collabo. Show of hands: Who’s ready for a full-length from these two, preferably with production from Kanyeezy, DJ Toomp, and Mike Dean?

Beanie Sigel – The Solution Tracklist & Cover

beanie-sigel-the-solution.jpg
Jay just dropped a banger on us. Free At Last is easily one of the best rap albums I’ve heard all year. And I’ve heard nothing but crack from Beans lately. I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’m witnessing a Roc-A-Fella resurgence.

For what to expect on Sig’s 4th album, due out December 11, see the tracklist and guest list below: Read the rest of this entry »

Ghostface ft. Beanie Sigel & Styles P – Barrell Brothers

ghostbdr_cover.jpg

“I kill a n*gga at the drop of a dime. Just Imagine what I’ll do for a quarter.” – Beans

What do you get when put three of the scariest rappers alive on the same track? Paranoia overload. Folks, hide your kids.

Beans and Ghostface delivered as always, but the other Ghost killed this one. For a rapper who has a distinct quality of making every song he’s featured on so much better, Styles is underrated as f*ck.

Kanye Fires Back at Beanie Sigel

(Pic via Complex)

Exactly two months ago, Beans called out Kanye and Pharrell on their fashion sense. In true Angie Martinez style, the issue was fully addressed during Kanye’s latest Hot 97 interview. He repeatedly orders them to turn down the music while speaking on the issue, so you know this really hit him in the bone. But to his credit, ‘Ye keeps his response funny without necessarily fanning the fire that Beans instigated. He wins again.

Listen up: Kanye Speaks on Beanie’s comments
(The interview starts around the 2-minute mark.)

More?
Miss Info has the rest of the interview, including Ye’s in-studio freestyle.

Ayo Beanie Sigel

(Spotted via: Sandra Rose)

First you dissed Kanye and Pharrell for their fashion sense. Then you quietly dropped a song titled “Creep Low.” Now, you’re whispering in another man’s ear and kissing him on the neck simultaneously?

What’s going on, Beans? I know you just got outta jail and all, but damn…a coming out party for one of Philly’s finest (no Mark Foley) can’t be that expensive.

Shots Fired: Beanie Sigel vs. Dipset

:Get your wig pushed back by the wig push-backer:

He’s been out of the game for a while, but it seems like Sigel’s starving for beef. Only 10 days after addressing his “internal issues” (’Ye), Sigel gears up for some real lyrical war. Unfortunately, the target(s) isn’t as, shall we say, competent as past rivals the LOX. Nonetheless, the Broad Street Bully is back! Check out this dope new insult-ridden West coast-styled banger. Kurupt must be laughing:

Beanie Sigel – Creep Low

Walk with me on this one: It seems to me like Beans is addressing Jimmy. Agree? Disagree?
