After a week of teasing his fans with a big announcement, Ballerstatus is reporting that Bow Wow has inked a deal with Cash Money Records.

“Two reliable insiders revealed to BallerStatus.com that the new deal with Cash Money Records is done … a wrap. However, nothing has been officially announced just yet.

The terms of the deal were unknown at press time.” [Ballerstatus]

*Yawn* Please wake me up when Bow Wow forms a supergroup with Soulja Boy and Lil Romeo, because that would be far more interesting than his Cash Money deal.

HAHAHA! Bow Wow is a comedian of sorts. No, sir, Run-DMC didn’t pave the way for you (at least, not intentionally). That would be Sammie.

Here’s a video of Game and Bow slugging it out on Madden. Despite all the tough talk, Bow Wow got owned on this one.

What’s better than seeing two grown-ups engage in a video game contest on the Internet?

You know, Game would be lying if he said he didn’t enter into this contest with LAX in mind. You could pretty much get a rapper to do anything these days, as long he has an album to promote.

“I’ve been playing this shit since you was in diapers. You was 3 years old when Madden first came out.”

As expected, Game accepts Bow Wow’s $100,000 Madden challenge. He also wants Bow Wow’s ex-girl Ciara as part of the prize. Didn’t he get the memo?

Well, if anyone wants to play me in NBA 2K9 for free, I’m game. Unfortunately, I don’t have 100K to throw down.
