Download – Drake – “Fear” [mp3]
“I never cried when Pac died, but I probably will when Hov does. And if my tears hold value, then I will drop one for every single thing he showed us. And I’ll be standing in a puddle.”
I wasn’t completely sold on Drake at first, but I’ve grown to appreciate his talent over the past 6 months. If he wasn’t already cognizant of the the ginormous expectations piled on his fledgling rap career he sure as hell is by now. Here he attempts to dispel some of the misconceptions that accompany stardom, while simultaneously embracing his own fears. It’s both honest and disturbing.
“Fear” is going to be the last song on the retail version of So Far Gone, according to Drake. The last line of the third verse is going to be the first line on his debut album, Thank Me Later.

Drake (F/ Kanye, Eminem, Lil Wayne) – Forever
[Produced by by Boi-1da]
I was talking to a friend a couple days ago and he asked me if I thought Drake had anything left in the tank now that he’s exhausted his mixtape hits. I’m not sure if “Forever” is the answer to that question, but it’s close enough. It’s pretty much this year’s “Swagga Like Us.”
“Forever” is set to appear on the upcoming Lebron James documentary, More Than a Game.
This is what happens when you put too many nerdy people in the same room.
Drizzy Drake has just scored his first cover with FADER. I know, I know, it’s not quite the “girls” you were expecting. Pop the hood for more pics.

The America’s Most Wanted Tour hit Drake’s hometown in T-Dot, and not even a lousy knee surgery could stop him from showing up on stage.
Drake reminds me of that #1 draft pick who just couldn’t get going in his rookie season because of recurring injuries. He injured his ACL prior to the BET Awards and was forced to perform sitting on a stool. While performing alongside Lil Wayne in Camden, NJ last night, he attempted a spin move at the beginning of “Best I Ever Had,” hit the deck and re-injured his knee. He had to be helped off stage by 4 guys. After Drake fell, Wayne said, “This n-gga really got a bad leg. I thought that sh-t was just on the TV show.” Ouch!
