Ghostface Killah (Ft. Raekwon & Malice T) – “Kilo” Remix

Ghostface Killah (Ft. Raekwon & Malice T) – “Kilo” Remix
I forgot how much I loved this song. “All around the world today, the kilo is the measure, a kilo is a thousand grams, easy to remember.” Oh yeah, Ghostface Killah’s Ghostdeini the Great drops next week. I hear it’s pretty ill.

Ghostface – ‘Ghostdeini the Great’ Tracklist

Ghostface has been releasing new albums at such an alarming rate that I’m beginning to wonder if he’s trying to get out of his Def Jam contract. He’s dropped 3 CDs in the last 2 years alone, with another one scheduled for November 25. Contrary to popular belief, Ghostdeini the Great is not Tony’s greatest hits album. It’s a mix of old cuts, remixes, and some new verses.

Peep the tracklist and guest features after the cut.

Concert Report: Ghost Brings Rehab to Houston

ghost-onstage.jpg

I learned two things at last night’s Ghostface concert in Houston:

1) Wu-Tang’s first Houston concert ended with the clan getting chased out the building
2) Ghostface live > Ghostface on wax

Ghostface blessed Houston with his gritty and witty brand of hip-hop, while promoting his upcoming Big Doe Rehab LP (out Dec. 4). Midway into the show, he paused for a moment and took us on a journey down memory lane. The year is 1992 and the Wu is performing “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthin’ to F*ck Wit” at a tiny club in H-Town. RZA passes the microphone to a young man in the audience. The concertgoer boldly instructs: “Yo get the f*ck outta here with that bullsh*t” and hands the mic back to a bewildered RZA. Ghostface ft. Beanie Sigel & Styles P – Barrell Brothers

ghostbdr_cover.jpg

“I kill a n*gga at the drop of a dime. Just Imagine what I’ll do for a quarter.” – Beans

What do you get when put three of the scariest rappers alive on the same track? Paranoia overload. Folks, hide your kids.

Beans and Ghostface delivered as always, but the other Ghost killed this one. For a rapper who has a distinct quality of making every song he’s featured on so much better, Styles is underrated as f*ck.
