Quincy Jones on Vibe: “They messed my magazine up!”

quincy_jones

Quincy Jones isn’t willing to let Vibe die just yet. Word has it that he may buy back the magazine he started

“I’m trying to buy my magazine back now,” Jones told EbonyJet.com on Tuesday, according to an article posted on the Web site.

Obviously, QJ isn’t too happy about Vibe’s recent direction:

“They just messed my magazine all up, but I’m gonna get it back,” he said, EbonyJet.com reported.

Kiddie Pr0n Ring Hides Behind Hip-Hop Site

r-kelly-saddened-by-this-news
Swiss police busted a child pornography ring that was operating through an unnamed hip-hop website. Among the culprits were 2,300 computers and 2,000 humans in 78 countries.

The report goes on to say that the pervs masquerading as hip-hop fans “paid $10 to download one video and $500 for the full collection of 101, with proceeds going to operators in Russia, Sauterel told Reuters Television.” Sounds like they ran this porn network like a business.

The crazy part is that the site owner had no clue that a bunch of pervs were feeding their twisted fantasies through his site. The investigation supposedly involves people from the U.S., Poland, Greece, Australia, and other countries.

Ah, just what hip-hop needed a week after Eminem’s lyrics stabbed and killed a family in Arizona.

Travis McCoy Hearts Africa

Travis McCoy (of Gym Class Heroes) recently took his first trip to Africa to shoot an MTV documentary. There, he learned, among other things, that Africa is totally awesome because kids enjoy playing soccer with balls made out of bread bags.

Hop over to Spin Earth to read his 5000-word epistle on the AIDS epidemic in Africa, which culminates with the news of a solo album.

Eminem’s “Lyrics” Stabs and Kills an Arizona Family

eminem-xxl-magazine-june-2009-cover-2

An Arizona numbnut who killed his wife and three kids told police that he was possessed and shouted Eminem lyrics (”Here comes Satan, I’m the anti-Christ, I’m going to kill you”) while stabbing his family to death.

Peep the f-ckery:

Miller told detectives he visualized his wife, Andreana Miller, as a demon, according to the station. He said just before stabbing her at 4 a.m., he sang lyrics to an Eminem song, saying, “Here comes Satan, I’m the anti-Christ, I’m going to kill you.” Miller told police that when his children woke up to their mother’s screams, he stabbed them, too. He added that he stabbed his son the most because he loved him the most.” [Source]

Eminem will get sued on behalf of Satan for inspiring such terrible acts, right? Eh, there’s only one problem with that claim: Those aren’t Eminem’s lyrics. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that a bonehead who is f-cked up enough to kill his family and can’t decide whether it was God or Devil that made him do it also screwed up details of the atrocity.

DMX - “Who’s Real”

x-going-hard-on-the-mic

DMX - “Who’s Real”
Oh hey, it’s Dark Man X exhibiting his “lyrical ingenuity” over Jadakiss’ “Who’s Real” beat. The song contains such poetic gem as “Y’all walk like that, but I walk like this” and “I like this hook. I like this beat.” No, I’m not making this up.
