Mickey Factz in the studio with Sean C & LV. This freestyle sounds like a potential banger. Can’t wait to hear the finished product.
Frankly, I liked Strong Arm Steady better when Xzibit was still part of the equation. That said, they’ve demonstrated some remarkable skill and a sense of dedication, so I’m not ready to write them off just yet. I can’t help but think that they’ll probably end up like most rap groups in recent years: in the breakup bin.
J*Davey performing their single, “Dollar or More,” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
This video reminds of me a time when rap videos were much more lighthearted and fun.
When J first sent me this with “fan video” in the title, I expected to see a corny video. But I was surprised by how ridiculously fresh it is. The M.I.A. scene is genius.
This is pretty dope for a lo-fi, almost Rik Cordero-esque video. My only gripe is that the guy who plays Lupe looks more like Nick Cannon.
Here’s the music clip for Reks’ “Money on the Ave” alongside Skyzoo. It’s not the best cut on Grey Hairs but it’s well worth your 5 minutes.

This video was obviously recorded today, perhaps even hours ago. How do I know? Well, you can still see a clip of Sarah Palin giving her speech on CNN. Cham is basically rambling off on a bunch of topics, including Obama’s historic candidacy and Mixtape Messiah 4. He also hints at a new Mixtape Messiah installment scheduled for November, a month before the arrival of his 3rd album.
