Nahshon passed this song to me while lamenting that “hip-hop might be dead again.” I figured it couldn’t be that bad since we all know that Jimmy’s the new Clown Prince of Hip-Hop. Of course, I was dead wrong. The sky is blue and this song is atrocious. I swear I feel like a victim of a conspiracy. I’m certain that Nahshon and Andrew teamed up to ruin my weekend with this mess. Either that or it’s my karmic retribution for pulling this prank on Jimmy.

However, if this is a joke of some sort, I’m not laughing with you, Jim Jones. Who do I talk to for a refund on my 3 minutes?

Jim Jones has a new DVD on the way and you can bet your kufi that it’s going to be chock full of comical moments. I’ll probably end up buying 2 of these just so I can mail one to Cam as a birthday present.

It’s truly amazing how Akon keeps re-writing the same hook and still manages to sound fresh everytime. I see they’ve quietly added Jimmy to this song as well.

The little homey brings out the big homey for an onstage collabo. Classic.

Speaking of Jay, I wonder what he thinks of Jim Jones calling him a dweeb in a recent interview. “For you to watch some of your favorite rappers turn out to be a dweeb, sometimes it hurts you,” says the Kufi Smacker.

Since some of us didn’t get it, let me state clearly that the Jim Jones’ Chipmunk album does not exist. I made that up in the vein of that popular New York Times story on American Gangster. Shout out to my blog fam for joining in on the fun, and to defsounds.com for supplying the above artwork.

It was good while it lasted. Now, let’s dead this story before Jimmy hears about it and decides to make an actual chipmunk album.
